Obama should heed the tribulations at the Tribune

If there is an argument from keeping out of the corporate dissolution process, the trials and tribulations behind the Tribune Co. should serve the Obama administration notice. S.3217, the Restoring American Financial Stability Act of 2010, allows an oversight council led by the Treasury secretary to petition a panel of Delaware bankruptcy judges for permission to break up a firm. Based on what the Tribune Co. has been going through since it filed for bankruptcy, this new oversight council’s staffing needs will be huge and require resources we may not have.
