I guess Bobby had to ask

Right now, Mitt Romney is asking Louisiana Governor Bobby “I got my name from a Brady Bunch character” Jindal why he couldn’t wait until after tonight’s Republican National Convention speeches before he asked the federal government for emergency aid money. To be fair, he has no choice. Hurricane Isaac is an emergency and the state has a legal right to ask for it. But after all that anti Obama cash noise coming from this Brady Bunch wannabe, you can’t help but observe the irony.

One Response to I guess Bobby had to ask

  1. Kenneth Ciszewski says:

Irony and hypocrisy. So much for, “get the Federal Government out of our lives.” Someone recently commented that all those farmers who suffered from the Midwest drought that ruined their crops and threatens to bankrupt them should, on principle, refuse the Federal aid that will be offered to help offset their losses. That would be freedom, libertarianism, and capitalism at its finest. Any takers?
